Welcome to the website for the southernmost parish in Scotland.
We may be remote in location but you will find us to be anything but remote in terms of our welcome and the help we try to offer!
Our Parish is called “Kirkmaiden” the main Church building is known as St. Medan’s in Drummore village, but we also worship in the Auld Kirk from time to time (see links at the side for details) We offer a warm welcome to all ages in our worship and our activities.
In March 2016 I joined the parish as minister after 26 years in another Galloway Church, followed by a short spell as a trainer and preacher in the Cairngorms.
Already I have found the people here to be very welcoming and I am sure you will experience the same.
The Church has a very good and active Choir who play a central role in our services as well as a thriving Sunday School for the youngest to the eldest children in our area
Check out the rest of our website and follow us on facebook for up to date information on what is happening each week. - just search for Drummore, Kirkmaiden or St Medan’s Church- any of these will find us!
Whether a local or just visiting you will find something for you in our Church and in the words of one of our new Hymns
“All are welcome in this place”
