Led by Rev. Chris an uplifting service was held at St. Medans on Easter Sunday.
The Sunday school children sang two easter songs which they had learned by heart.
Floral displays were arranged by Carol Rennison, the main one being a Chrismon tree. This tree typically starts as a Christmas Tree which is stripped and adorned with a purple cloak and a crown of thorns to symbolose Christ's suffering, and is displayed during lent. A purse of coins is placed at it's foot to symbolise the 30 pieces of silver paid to Judas. During the easter Sunday service the congregation are invited to step forward with flowers to decorate the tree and symbolise new life and the ressurection of Jesus.
